The course is designed to provide the student with a detailed “hands-on” approach to anatomy. The objective of the course is to become familiar with and identify in-depth anatomical structures of the various body systems, both at the organismal and cellular level using various dissection tools. Students will develop a vocabulary of appropriate terminology to effectively communicate anatomical information and gain a thorough understanding of the anatomical interrelationships between the organ systems. (2 lab hours, 1 credit hour). Prerequisite: BI101 or permission of instructor. Spring semester.
